The Proper Transportation of Perishable Cargos

The proper transportation of perishable cargos

Businessmen and just ordinary senders usually use services of the specialized companies when they need to transport something. There are often perishable goods in the shipment. You should understand that these shipments have special requirements. Only when cooperating with experienced workers, you may be sure that every nuance is taken into account.

The main rules for the unloading perishable cargo

Perishable cargos need to be transported into the special package. The workers pack the goods properly into a dry and clean package. If you need to transport flasks or barrels, remember that they need to be fixed with a rubber seal.

As for the trucks, which are used for transportation, they must meet all sanitation norms. If the expedited shipping is performed in summer, there must be refrigerators. If the shipping arrives in winter, heating devices must be installed in the trucks.

Transportation of the plant-based goods

If you need to deliver fruit and vegetables, it’s better to follow the main rules. Firstly, fruit and vegetables must be unloaded to the edges of the boxes. Otherwise, they can move in the box and damage themselves. During the unloading of fruit and vegetables, you should pay attention to the variety and degree of maturity. Every kind of such goods must be packed separately. Sometimes the workers of the truck shipment companies have to use wrapping paper.

One more nuance is that the companies which offer their services can transport only fresh fruit and vegetables. Your order may be rejected if your goods aren’t in a proper state. It is possible to transport fruit and vegetables in trucks, but only in those which have ventilation.

Transportation of meat production

If you send a big part of meat production, you should know that these goods are delivered in the boxes with spaces. Usually, specialized companies use wooden barrels or glass packages to transport fats.

As for the rabbit carcasses, they need to be frozen or cooled. Then specialists place them into the boxes. One more rule is the absence of the skin and internal organs. If the carcasses are frozen, there must be spaces in the boxes.

Before transporting the carcasses of the cattle, you should divide them into some parts. Pork is usually divided into two long parts or is delivered without changes as whole carcasses. Also before you send cargo to your customer, you need to be sure that there are not any marks of blood and pollution. So, only if you follow rules, it’s possible to deliver perishable items fresh and without damage.
